2025 Hmong Disability national virtual conference
| ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
The 2025 Hmong National Disability Conference, themed Building for Tomorrow at the Intersection of Hmong Culture & Disability, will bring together individuals with disabilities, families, advocates and service providers to explore the unique experiences and challenges faced by the Hmong disability community. Through interactive workshops, panels, and discussions, attendees will examine the ways culture and disability intersect, sharing insights and strategies for creating a future that embraces inclusion, equity, and empowerment. This conference will be a vital space to connect, learn, and collaborate in building a society that honors both Hmong heritage and the diverse identities within our community.

Elevate and center the stories, perspectives, and experiences of disabled Hmong community members to increase visibility and awareness. - Create a Dedicated Space for Dialogue and Education
Foster open conversations around disability within the Hmong community, providing a platform for education and mutual understanding to break down cultural stigmas. - Address Key Issues of Ableism, Disability Justice, Accessibility, and Inclusion
Explore and tackle challenges related to ableism and promote principles of disability justice, with a focus on accessibility and inclusion across various community spaces. - Ensure Conversations Lead to Practical Actions
Ground discussions in the real-life experiences of disabled Hmong individuals, shaping actionable objectives that can drive meaningful change and improve the community's support for disability rights and inclusion.

- Professional: $75.00 per person
- Individual: $25.00 per person
- Definition: Open to people with disabilities, low-income families, students, seniors 65+, support staff/chaperones, and community advocates

- The UHD Conference is a virtual event. Joining instructions will be sent closer to the date.
